Meta is testing a premium subscription for Instagram called 'Instagram Plus' in Mexico, Japan, and the Philippines. This subscription allows users to view all Instagram Stories anonymously, create multiple story audiences, and access additional features like story rewatch insights and extended story expiration. The service is currently in testing and is not yet available to everyone. Meta has also been exploring other subscription options for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, including AI-powered tools and ad-free experiences.
