šØ Abstract
Ramona Stoia, 35, was murdered by her ex-partner, Catalin Micu, despite warning police of his threats. She had reported previous violence and rape, but Kent Police assessed her risk as 'medium.' A Domestic Homicide Review found that police did not take her warnings seriously enough. Micu stabbed Ramona at their workplace, GothInk Studio, and then took his own life.
