💨 Abstract
Clapham High Street experienced two nights of chaos, with youths causing disorder, setting fires, and forcing shops to close early. The Met Police attributed the disorder to a TikTok trend and have arrested six teenage girls, with more arrests expected. Local business owners criticized the police response, stating that the youths showed no fear or respect for authorities. The incidents have left the area deserted, and locals fear further disruption over the Easter Bank Holiday. Social media was cited as a significant factor in the unrest.
