💨 Abstract

Nectome, a startup led by Borys Wróbel, aims to preserve human brains and bodies to potentially upload them to computers. They successfully preserved a pig's brain and body, which could allow future communication with past individuals. The process involves replacing blood with preservation fluids to prevent ice damage and maintain brain structure. While promising, the technology is not yet ready for human use and faces ethical and scientific challenges.
