💨 Abstract
Iran has threatened retaliation after the U.S. seized one of its ships, the M/V Touska, in the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. accused the ship of failing to comply with warnings, while Iran claims the U.S. violated a ceasefire and committed maritime piracy. The USS Spruance intercepted the ship, firing rounds and boarding it. The U.S. Central Command stated that Marines disabled the ship's propulsion.
