💨 Abstract

Investigators in Ukraine face delays in identifying and repatriating slain Ukrainians due to hidden explosives placed in bodies by Russian soldiers. Safety checks are mandatory before identification work can begin. The Centre for the Search for Missing Persons in Kirovohrad works around the clock to return bodies to families. Russia has been found to hide its own slain soldiers and send their remains back in Ukrainian uniforms. Some returned Ukrainians have missing organs and signs of torture.
