💨 Abstract

"The Office" episode "Koi Pond" featured a controversial cold opening where Michael Scott faked a hanging in front of toddlers, dressed as the 'Dick in a Box' character. The scene, intended as dark humor, sparked public outcry and was cut from future broadcasts due to its sensitive nature, particularly because of its implications regarding suicide.
