💨 Abstract
In South Korea, a ban on dog meat will take effect in February, marking a significant shift as public opinion turns against the practice. Activists from Humane World for Animals Korea recently conducted their final large-scale rescue mission, saving dogs from a 20-year-old farm in Gangjin. The farm, which once housed 1,000 dogs, will close, and the remaining animals will be flown to the U.S. and Canada for adoption.
