đź’¨ Abstract
Anthropic, an AI lab, has established a political action committee (PAC) named AnthroPAC to influence policy and regulation. The PAC will contribute to both major parties during the midterms, funded by voluntary employee contributions up to $5,000. This move follows a trend of AI companies investing in political influence, with $185 million already contributed to midterm races.
