💨 Abstract

The European Union's cybersecurity agency, CERT-EU, reported that the cybercriminal group TeamPCP hacked the EU's executive body, stealing around 92 GB of data from an AWS account. This data included personal information and email contents from the Europa.eu platform. The breach, which began on March 19, was facilitated by a compromised open-source security tool, Trivy. The stolen data was later leaked online by another group, ShinyHunters.
