💨 Abstract

Waymo and Waze have launched a pilot program to share pothole data collected by Waymo's robotaxis with cities and Waze users. The initial focus is on Austin, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and the San Francisco Bay Area, with plans to expand. This initiative aims to help cities maintain safer streets and build goodwill for Waymo as it expands to over 20 cities. The data will also be available to Waze users for verification.
