💨 Abstract

Alexandre LeBrun, CEO of Yann LeCun's AMI Labs, avoids using terms like "AGI" or "superintelligence" for his company's work. LeBrun believes these terms lack clear definitions and are not useful. AMI Labs is developing world models, which predict the next state of the real world, complementing large language models (LLMs). LeBrun sees potential in robotics and other industries that interact with the physical world, where current AI systems struggle.
