💨 Abstract

The X (formerly Twitter) accounts of Chinese state media outlets Global Times and Xinhua were withheld in India due to a legal request. Meanwhile, India rejected China's attempt to rename places in Arunachal Pradesh, asserting that the state is and will always be an integral part of India. This move by China is part of its persistent attempts to claim Arunachal Pradesh as part of southern Tibet.
