Russian President Vladimir Putin has received an invitation to visit Iran, though the dates are yet to be finalized. Both countries have a strategic partnership, with agreements on weapons supply and support for Iran's peaceful nuclear energy. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed the invitation and highlighted the depth of the relationship. Putin's last visit to Iran was in 2022, following the invasion of Ukraine.
