💨 Abstract

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) predicts that the dominance of fossil fuels in India's electricity generation will end by the end of the decade. Globally, renewable energy is expected to surpass 50% share in electricity generation. To meet net-zero emission targets by mid-century, a tripling of renewable energy capacity by 2030 is needed.
