Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will lead a delegation to Washington from May 16 to discuss a proposed bilateral trade agreement (BTA) with the US. Meetings with US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick are planned. The talks aim to secure "early mutual wins" and take advantage of a 90-day tariff pause, with both sides seeking concessions in key sectors.
