Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal met with Norwegian Foreign Affairs Minister Espen Barth Eide to discuss the implementation of the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement. EFTA, comprising of Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein, has committed to promoting investments of $100 billion and creating 1 million direct jobs in India over 15 years. The agreement was signed on March 10, 2024.
