💨 Abstract
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is continuing work on debt-for-nature swaps despite an enquiry into a previous swap with Ecuador. The IDB expects to finalize a swap with Barbados within two months and is considering swaps for education, blue economy, and health. The bank is also discussing the donation of International Monetary Fund reserve assets to boost lending.
