💨 Abstract

Countries report on their plans and progress to reduce carbon emissions via Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). NDCs describe national policies towards reaching net-zero emissions, with updated reports every couple of years. The Net-Zero Tracker found that 93% of global GDP is covered by targets, indicating progress towards net zero. However, more action is needed to turn pledges into credible plans.
