Diabetic patients in urban areas are at a significant risk of developing heart failure, according to two studies conducted in Mumbai and Delhi-NCR. The studies, which analyzed over 3,000 patient samples, found that 15% and 34% of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) patients exhibit elevated heart failure risk, as indicated by NT-proBNP levels.
