💨 Abstract
On May 15, four security personnel were injured by a lightning strike during anti-Naxal operations in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district. The injured include two CRPF officers and two Jharkhand Jaguar assistant sub-inspectors. The incident occurred in the Saranda forest near a CRPF camp. Heavy rain and lightning struck the area in the afternoon. The injured personnel were treated at a medical facility in Noamundi.
