💨 Abstract
In Bilaspur, India, two children were rescued from a sudden surge in the Sutlej River. Krish (8), Mannat (10), and Anuj (12) were playing near the river when water from the Koldam Project increased the river's level. Mannat raised an alarm, leading villagers and officials to act quickly. Dam authorities reduced the water flow by closing the gates, and Rajendra Kumar, a local man, safely rescued the children.
