💨 Abstract
In Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district, five individuals were arrested for allegedly killing two widows, Pingla Purty and Choko Bodra, after suspecting them of practicing witchcraft. The women were reportedly killed on May 14, their bodies found in a ditch in Purulia village. The suspects confessed that they killed the women in retaliation for the death of a 10-year-old girl, which they attributed to black magic. More suspects are being searched.
