💨 Abstract

In Austin, Texas, a 31-year-old Indian man, Deepak Kandel, stabbed and killed 30-year-old Akshay Gupta on a public bus on May 14. Gupta was discovered with severe injuries and succumbed on the scene despite emergency efforts. Kandel, who sat next to Gupta, claimed he stabbed him because Gupta resembled his uncle. Kandel was later detained and charged with first-degree murder.
