💨 Abstract
Five undertrial prisoners accused under the POCSO Act escaped from Morigaon District Jail in Assam between 1 am and 2 am on Friday. The inmates broke the iron grille of their cell, made a rope using bed sheets, blankets, and lungis, and climbed down a 20-feet-high boundary wall. A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the incident to investigate any lapses by the jail security personnel.
