💨 Abstract

Due to heightened security threats and increased drone activity in Jaisalmer post-Operation Sindoor, nine critically endangered Great Indian Bustard chicks were transferred to the Wildlife Institute of India center in Ajmer. The birds, aged 5 to 28 days, were moved from two breeding centers near the India-Pakistan border to protect them from loud noises. Transported in specially designed, comfortable vehicles, the move aims to ensure the continuity of conservation efforts.
