💨 Abstract
The Major Atmospheric Cherenkov Experiment (MACE) observatory, the largest imaging Cherenkov telescope in Asia, has been inaugurated in Hanle, Ladakh by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). Built by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), it is the highest of its kind telescope worldwide, located at an altitude of 4,300 metres.
