💨 Abstract
In response to a bird flu scare in neighboring Uttar Pradesh, the GP Pant High Altitude Zoological Park in Nainital, Uttarakhand, has strengthened its bio-security and surveillance measures. Regular health check-ups of birds, strict entry protocols, and visitor education on hygiene are among the new guidelines. Staff are trained to detect and respond to illness signs, and personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory for handling birds.
