💨 Abstract
In a recent podcast episode, Bengaluru Commissioner of Police B Dayananda and Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) M N Anucheth discussed the depiction of police in Indian films. They agreed that while movies like 'Sarfarosh' and 'Ardh Satya' came close to reality, most films do not accurately portray the police. Dayananda noted that films are meant for entertainment, not as documentaries.
