💨 Abstract
A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court of India seeking an FIR against Allahabad High Court judge Justice Yashwant Varma over a cash discovery incident. After an internal inquiry found him guilty, Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna urged him to resign, but he refused. The petitioners, including advocate Mathews Nedumpara, demand a criminal investigation alongside judicial disciplinary actions. They had earlier challenged the internal inquiry, but the court dismissed it as premature.
