💨 Abstract

On May 7, Meghalaya conducted civil defense mock drills across all 12 districts to test preparedness for war or war-like situations. The exercises included simulations of air raids, blackouts, and evacuations. Special focus was given to East Khasi Hills, West Jaintia Hills, and West Garo Hills districts. In Shillong, various agencies participated in scenarios like search and rescue, fire response, and specialized rescue operations.
