India's Army has entered into a unique contract with civil aviation service providers to provide helicopter support to remote, winter-isolated posts along the northern and western borders. The one-year contract will ensure the supply of essential items like food, fuel, and medical supplies to 44 posts, benefiting 16 posts year-round and 28 posts for 150 days.
