💨 Abstract
In Maharashtra's Beed district, police personnel are now using name plates without surnames to eliminate caste-based discrimination. This initiative was taken by the Beed Superintendent of Police (SP), Navneet Kanwat, who earlier also directed officials to address each other by their first names. Approximately 100 name plates have been distributed across police stations and offices in the district.
