In Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh, a government employee, Basant Patel (41), was found dead by hanging, along with his wife Bharti (38) and their two children, Sejal (11) and Kiyansh (4), who were found deceased on a bed. Neighbors alerted the police after noticing no movement. Patel, a peon, is suspected to have poisoned his family before committing suicide.
