💨 Abstract
In Jaunpur district, Uttar Pradesh, a police encounter with cow smugglers resulted in one smuggler's death and two injuries. The incident occurred when smugglers tried to flee after hitting a police head constable with their vehicle. Earlier, cow smugglers had attacked police personnel, injuring an officer. Following this, a checking campaign was launched, leading to the encounter. One smuggler died from police retaliation, and two were injured and arrested.
