đź’¨ Abstract
On May 13th, amidst hundreds of onlookers, a 43-year-old woman jumped into the sea from Mumbai's Marine Drive promenade and died despite a brave rescue attempt by a traffic police constable. Though bystanders mostly watched passively, Constable Suresh Bhikaji Gosavi jumped into the rough waters, administered CPR, and managed to evacuate almost 4 liters of water from her lungs.
