💨 Abstract
Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and trader bodies in Delhi have praised the BJP-led Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for deferring the imposition of user charges for garbage collection, previously imposed by the AAP. The MCD also introduced an amnesty scheme allowing property owners to settle old house tax dues without penalties. The move followed discussions with RWAs, who had earlier objected to the arbitrary imposition of user charges.
