💨 Abstract

The Union education and health ministries issued a joint advisory urging states to implement the Tobacco-Free Educational Institution (ToFEI) manual. The advisory highlights the concerning findings of the Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS), 2019, which showed that 8.5% of Indian students aged 13-15 consume tobacco.
