💨 Abstract

Medical experts in Jaipur emphasized the importance of newborn screening for inborn errors of metabolism (IEM) and training doctors to diagnose these rare diseases. The Indian Society for Inborn Errors of Metabolism (ISIEM) is focusing on training doctors and building infrastructure for diagnosis. Experts discussed genetic metabolic disorders, newborn screening, and IEM basics at a three-day conference.
