💨 Abstract
In Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district, a notorious criminal, Sonu Pasi, with a bounty of Rs 1 lakh, was killed in a police encounter. Pasi, wanted in 53 cases including murder and robbery, opened fire on the police during an attempted arrest. Police seized illegal weapons from him. Earlier, Pasi had shot a villager during a theft and was on the run. Three associates were arrested in previous encounters. A police officer narrowly escaped injury.
