💨 Abstract
The Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS), launched in October 2024, aims to provide internships to 1 crore youth over five years to equip them for future employment, particularly in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. The scheme offers a one-year on-the-job training with a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000, shared by the government and companies, and a one-time grant of Rs 6,000.
