💨 Abstract

The Indian government plans to introduce three bills, including two constitutional amendment bills, to implement simultaneous elections for Lok Sabha, state assemblies, and local bodies. One bill will require the approval of at least 50% of states, while the other will need ratification by at least 50% of state assemblies.
