💨 Abstract

A government school teacher in Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir, was suspended for allegedly using corporal punishment on a student. The teacher, Anayatullah Ahanger, was placed under immediate suspension after a viral video showed the student being subjected to such punishment. The Kishtwar Chief Education Officer has set up a committee for a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
