In Patan, Gujarat, 15 second-year medical students were arrested and charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder after a junior died due to ragging. The students allegedly made their juniors stand in a hostel room for over three hours and subjected them to mental and physical torture. The victim, Anil Methaniya, fell unconscious and died.
