💨 Abstract
The High Court of Chandigarh granted Punjab one day to respond to replies filed by Haryana, the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB), and the Union government regarding a dispute over water release. Haryana and BBMB accused Punjab of defying court orders, claiming the state has used excess water and is obstructing statutory authority. Punjab, meanwhile, insists Haryana has already utilized its share. The next hearing is set for May 22.
