💨 Abstract
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has expressed interest in India's mobile food irradiators, which can extend food product shelf-life and reduce crop loss. IAEA is considering installing more of these devices in countries that require them, according to Department of Atomic Energy secretary A K Mohanty. India's mobile irradiators are particularly beneficial for countries like Ghana, where ginger is a significant cash crop.
