Canada and India do not anticipate the diplomatic dispute over a Sikh separatist leader's murder affecting their bilateral trade ties. Canada exports minerals, pulses, potash, chemicals, and gemstones to India, while importing pharmaceuticals, marine products, and electronics. The two countries have a trade volume of $8.4 billion, with over 600 Canadian companies operating in India.
