ISRO successfully conducted the first hot test of a Semicryogenic engine with a high thrust of 2,000 kN, marking a significant milestone in the development of the engine for the Launch Vehicle Mark-3. The test was carried out at ISRO Propulsion Complex, Mahendragiri, and validated the performance of the pre-burner, turbo pumps, start system, and control components.
