On October 1, some coaches of the Kerala Express rolled over broken rail tracks in Lalitpur district, UP. The incident happened Monday afternoon while the train was en route from Thiruvananthapuram to New Delhi. The train was running behind schedule and had left Bina station in Madhya Pradesh. The incident was averted as the train made an emergency halt before reaching the broken rail track. No passengers were injured.
