The Kerala Police are investigating threats made via an international call to the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of 'Jehovah’s Witnesses.' The caller, from a Malaysian number, threatened harm to members testifying in the Kalamassery serial blast case and bombs at religious gatherings. The case involves an October 2023 blast during a Jehovah’s Witnesses gathering, which resulted in eight deaths and several injuries.
